Before Sunday's X Games Freestyle Moto X finals, Travis Pastrana said Nate Adams is the best Freestyle rider in the world. Asked the same question, Nate Adams said that title belongs to Travis Pastrana. Modest or not, both riders knew the final would come down to a head-to-head battle between them. 

With a concussion, black eye, tweaked wrist, broken toe and badly scraped cheek, Pastrana gutted out two runs. But with no 360 and no double backflip, Travis could not put together a run that could put him ahead of Adams. For the first time in his X Games career, Pastrana didn't win the Freestyle gold.

About Travis Pastrana

In the cool guy sport of freestyle motocross where most of the top dogs boast strippers for girlfriends and more ink than a skid row thug, 22-year-old Travis Pastrana, is an anomaly. Clean cut as the day he made his debut on the scene when he was 15-years-old and won his first X Games gold, Pastrana is the unapologetic good boy in a sport filled with bad ass partiers who make a living off of selling the white trash image of moto. But Pastrana could care less about all of that.

Pastrana Double BackFlip

History was made this past August 3rd-6th, in Los Angeles, at the Summer X-Games. Twenty-two-year-old Travis Pastrana performed a double backflip on his motorcycle.

Travis resides in Annapolis, Maryland and has been competing for nineteen years. At the age of three, he became a Pro Racer participant. In 1998, he began competing in X-Games competitions.
